If Section D.1. Education Loan Indebtedness—Loans You Want to Consolidate found on page 2 of the Federal Consolidation Loan Application and Promissory Note is incomplete, and you are unsure of your current loan information, please utilize the following steps to complete your application:

Note: Perkins Loans have a 9 month Grace Period. Because the consolidation will fund at the end your Stafford Loans’ Grace Period (6 months), Including a Perkins Loan in your consolidation will result in a loss of 3 months of its Grace Period.
If you have loans to list in Section D.2. that you do not want to consolidate, use the above example for completing Items 27, 28 and 32.
